CPA Lead Blog Thu, 13 Jan 2022 17:50:43 +0000 en-US hourly 1 How to Earn from Installing Mobile Apps Thu, 13 Jan 2022 17:50:43 +0000 App developers have a very hard time getting installs for their apps in the Google or Apple App store and they’re willing to pay you for installs. Here is how you can help them:

When you find people/traffic who want to install their app, you get paid for each install. It’s that simple! The advertiser is happy because Google or Apple sees another install for their app which helps their App Store rank/reputation, and you receive money, it’s a win for both sides.

To start earning, you need to look for an app that you think your friends or traffic will install. The offers at the top of the list are the best performing cost-per-install (CPI) offers on our network. This means in general, it takes less clicks to get an install on their app. The advertisers with the easiest to install apps are at the top of the list. The advertisers with the harder to install apps are lower in rank and at the bottom of the list.

We encourage our advertisers to make their app easy to install. The easier an app is to install, the higher the rank, and the more traffic an advertiser receives. Unfortunately we have some advertisers who have additional requirements and do not reward for every install, and these poor performing offers/apps are lower on our list and receive much less traffic. We give our advertisers a choice: Make your app easy to install to get a lot of traffic, or make it hard to install to get little to no traffic.

Once you find an app you want to earn from, click on the app name. You will see a page appear with your own unique URL to share. When your friends or traffic click on this link, they will be sent to the Google or Apple app store. After they install the offer, you will be paid, assuming the advertiser is fair and has rewarded you for the install.

As we mentioned above, not all advertisers are fair, which is why we have the rank system. If you are an advertiser / app developer reading this, we beg you to reward our publishers for every install to get the most traffic to your campaign.

To access our CPI offers, please log into your CPAlead publisher account. After logging in, you will see a list of our offers with various columns. Below is what each column means.

Rank: This is the rank of the offer in CPAlead when compared to all of our other offers. Rank 1 is the highest and easiest to convert offer. This means this offer is most likely to pay you for every install. Offers that are lower in rank install less frequently.

Offer name: This is the name of the app / offer and is set by the app developer / advertiser. The ‘Burst’ label next to an offer name means that this is a high converting offer and may only be available for a limited time, so we suggest sending traffic to it now before it’s gone. Burst means the advertiser REALLY wants installs and they are aggressively paying you to get them. The ‘Featured’ label means the advertiser has paid an extra listing fee to have their offer at the top of the list. These are likely newer offers from advertisers who are looking for you to send traffic to their newer offer so our system can assign them a rank. After their offer is no longer featured, it will show up as a normal offer with a rank based on its performance.

Device: This is the device that the app is intended for. If it says Android, then you will only be paid for installs from Android devices. If it’s iOS, then you will only be paid for installs from iOS devices. Type: This is the type of offer. Most are mobile apps, but we also have some surveys and mobile pin submit campaigns.

Country: This specifies the country the traffic needs to be from in order for you to earn from the install. For instance, if it says US, then only traffic you send to this app from the United States can earn you money for installs. All other traffic from other countries will NOT be counted.

Cap: This is the percentage amount of the remaining balance for the advertiser for the day. It says 20%, then this means 20% of the advertiser’s budget has already been spent for the day and it will reset back to 0% tomorrow.

Fast Pay: This column indicates which offers will add to your Fast Pay balance. Your Fast Pay balance can be cashed out once a day and paid the day after. With CPAlead, this is how you can be paid every 24 hours. Offers that are not Fast Pay will be paid on the payment schedule your account is set to.

EPC: This means Earnings Per Click. So for instance, an offer that has a payout of $1 and has reported 100 installs from 1,000 clicks will have an EPC of 10 cents. To calculate this, take 1000 and divide it by $100. Offers and apps with the highest EPC will have the highest rank, while offers that have lower EPC rates will have lower rates.

Payout: This is the amount you will earn for each install or completed offer. As we mentioned above, not every advertiser pays for every install which is why we have the rank system. The offers that are ranked the highest will payout the most often, and offers with lower ranks will payout the least often.

Happy Holidays from CPAlead Tue, 15 Dec 2020 20:52:41 +0000

We would just like to wish all of our publishers and advertisers a Happy Holidays!

In this industry we see a lot of concerns in regards to trust. When a publisher sends traffic to a CPA network, they worry about being paid. CPAlead has been in business for over 12 years and has paid out millions of dollars to our publishers, but we realize this is not a perfect reason to trust us. This is why we offer daily payments to all of our publishers with a minimum cash out requirement of only $1. If you are on the fence and not sure if you can trust us as a CPA network, we ask that you send us just a little bit of your traffic. When we pay you the next day, send us more, and day after day we hope to gain your trust that way.

We are able to pay all of our publishers daily because unlike other CPA networks, we work directly with 98% of our advertisers to bring you direct CPA offers. As we continue to expand into 2021, expect to see even more direct CPA and CPI offers and unique features from our CPA network.

Thank you all for being a part of the CPAlead family.

Working direct with CPA and CPI advertisers certainly has it’s benefits. While most CPA networks claim to work directly with advertisers, we actually do and we can prove it.

When was the last time a CPA network offered you daily payments? This means, if you wanted to, you could cash out your earnings every 24 hours? We at CPAlead leverage our relationships with CPA advertisers to provide you not only the best payout rates in the industry, but also the best payout terms.

Any offer that has the Fast Pay label next to it will allow you to cash out revenue earned from that offer the same day. The minimum payment is only 75 cents, so whether you earn thousands a day or only $1 a day, we’re happy to provide you daily payments.

How to Optimize an App for Android Development Fri, 03 May 2019 15:57:32 +0000
Looking for Android app ideas that help improve user experience and boost usage?  Optimizing your app can help you boost your CPA lead ad revenue. Here are some proven techniques for Android app developers to optimize the user-friendliness of your apps.

Speedier Screens

Nothing is more frustrating to users than waiting for a screen to resolve. The ideal time for an app to render a screen is 16 milliseconds. How do Android app developers avoid slower rendering and avoid high abandonment rates?

  • Don’t clutter the screen. Focus only on what’s essential to the user experience.
  • Load elements in priority.
  • Provide access to cached app data to avoid delays caused by slow Internet connections.
  • Save screen layouts locally.

Here are few tools that can help Android app developers troubleshoot slow screen rendering:

Reduce ANRs

Another thing that is sure to decrease user retention is ANR (Application Not Responding) errors. You can track ANRs to identify and resolve these issues using Android Vitals in the Google Play Console. Common ANR problems occur when the main thread is:

  • Performing a long calculation
  • Doing a synchronous binder call to another process that is slow in responding
  • Blocked waiting for another operation on another thread to complete
  • Deadlocked with another thread

Exercise a Tight Core

Android app developers utilize a set of core tests to evaluate how well the app can run on various Android devices. The key measurements cover:

  • Visual design and user interaction
  • Functionality
  • Compatibility, performance, and stability
  • Security

Test your apps against these criteria to ensure your Android app not only meets but exceeds these performance standards.

Keep Users in the App

Don’t redirect users to other websites or apps. Once they leave, they may not come back, either because you’ve now lost their interest or they’re confused about how to get back. That’s particularly important for us at CPAlead, because if users leave the app before reading the ads, traffic isn’t monetized to its fullest potential. So, in almost all cases, design the app so that everything they need to know is in the app and that, moreover, users will want to stay in the app.

Simpler Relationships

The guiding rule to organizing your app is the simpler you can make it, the better. If users can’t  immediately and intuitively navigate the Android app, chances are they aren’t going to bother to take the time to figure it out. To determine how one category should naturally transition to another, use Entity Relationship Documents (ERDs) to determine the most effective interactions.

Use a Basic Layout

A poor layout doesn’t just look bad, it slows the interface and drains the battery (see below). A poor layout can also detract from ad placement, rather than drawing attention to it.

Use a basic layout structure wherever possible to reduce strain on the user’s device. Reuse that layout for multiple features and add custom bars and buttons as needed. Common elements integrated into multiple app layouts can be extracted and individually managed. Another trick to reduce memory usage and improve rendering is to program the app to only load layout views when they are needed.

Don’t Drain the Battery

Ensure battery usage is not too high. Nobody wants an app that drains battery life. A few ways to keep your app from excessively consuming the battery include:

  • Reduce network calls
  • Avoid wake lock
  • Use GPS only if necessary
  • Perform batch scheduling

No Unnecessary Objects

Objects use up memory, which affects overall Android app performance. Reduce strain on the user’s device and improve the app experience by getting rid of unnecessary objects. Using only the objects necessary to make the app work is the object of any Android app development optimization.

CPAlead just got even better for 2019! Thu, 06 Dec 2018 00:48:22 +0000 2018 has been a very busy year for us and we’re very excited for 2019!

We apologize for not posting an update sooner, our team has been heads down rewriting a lot of our code that dates back as far as 2008.

For the last 10 years, we have been adding new features on top of existing features which has allowed us to be agile in this very competitive environment, but unfortunately over time this can have negative consequences. The main issue is that we had to continue to increase the hardware on our servers to keep up with the traffic demand and the inefficiencies of our dated code.

Instead of continuing to increase our hardware, we decided in 2018 to make writing our infrastructure our core focus. We realized that in doing so, we would have to delay a lot of projects and new features we are excited to develop, but we would be much better off in the long term.

The good news is, our team is now finished and our code is 33%+ more efficient than it was before! This means our lockers and PPV, CPC, CPI, and CPA ads will load quicker than ever before, and on top of that, we did manage to add some new features!

As many of you have noticed already, we have a new dashboard design which was long overdue. Our dashboard is also now mobile responsive so you can manage your PPV, CPC, CPA and CPI offers and lockers while being home or away.

CPAlead Dashboard 2019

We also redesigned our locker landing page creator and added many new templates to stay current with recent trends. For our more advanced content locking publishers, you now also have the option to use your own domain name with 1 simple command!

CPAlead Page Locker Creator

In 2019, look out for even more features including an Android SDK that will allow Android app owners to insert our PPV, CPC, CPI, and CPA ads in their app using a locker, banners, or offerwall. This project is nearly finished and we hope to release it in Q1 of 2019.

We also have other exciting features that are currently in development that are too early in the development cycle to mention, so look out for future blog and Facebook posts announcing those.

Here is quick recap of changes:

All New Dashboard – Complete overhaul of old dashboard, features new Bootstrap 4 template. Every single dashboard page was gone through and updated to new template.

Internal Mail System – Send mail directly to publishers dashboard without needing to fire off an email blast.

Avatar/Rank – Publisher now has an avatar to their account, and a new rank system.

All Documentation pages rewritten to new Bootstrap 4 styling.

Feedback System – Direct feedback system, includes voting system for publishers to vote on features they like.

Lottery System – Lottery scratches are back.

Landing Pages – New landing pages tool for publishers, includes 9 high quality responsive templates for publishers to choose from, each with various form options to customize landing page. A Custom HTML landing page option allows publishers to implement their own landing pages, or even import our base templates and customize them.

Landing Page Cloud Hosting – All landing page assets are hosted on Google Cloud for speed and availability (assets won’t get adblocked)

Landing Page Promotion – Similar to the niche system, publishers can submit their landing page to our landing page gallery, where publishers can promote other publishers landing pages.

Landing Page Deployer App – We now have custom software that publishers can upload to their own server and host landing pages locally rather than link to our domains and host. With DigitalOcean, publishers can install our deployer app with 1 simple command.

Large portion of code base refactored and optimized. Over 280,000 lines of code removed and replaced.
